AFTER THE TRANSPLANTATION – FIRST 3 DAYS TO BE NOTED
Medications prescribed by your doctor should be used. Rest your body extensively and spend time at home. Medications should be taken regularly. There should be no friction on the transplanted area. The head should be protected and not exposed to any minor impacts. Fluid consumption should be high. It is recommended to consume an average of 2 liters of water. Protection from sun and weather conditions such as rain should be observed. Washing should begin from the 3rd day. The first washing will be done by your hair transplant center. Alcohol, sexual intercourse, and excessive caffeine-containing drinks should be avoided. Swelling and edema may occur during these days, so drinking plenty of water is recommended. The sleeping position is very important. When sleeping, the transplanted area should not touch the pillow. To do this, you should lie on your back at a 45-degree angle. The back of the head can touch the pillow, which is not a problem.
GENERAL PROCESS AFTER THE TRANSPLANTATION
After hair transplantation, starting from the 10th day, the transplanted hair begins to break and fall out, and 80-90% of it falls out within 1.5 months. Starting from the 3rd month, 10% of the transplanted hair starts to grow and increase every month, resulting in visible changes within 6 months. The process continues for 12-18 months. Machine shaving is not recommended for 1.5 months, and scissors can be used for cutting. Hats and similar products can be used occasionally after 15 days. Swimming, hammam, sauna, and heavy exercise are not allowed for 1 month. Smoking should be avoided for 3 weeks. You should make sure to get essential minerals and vitamins for hair from natural foods. The essential substances for hair include B7 vitamin, all B-group vitamins, A, C, E, D vitamins, Zinc, and Iron.
